TE PUKE ITEMS.
Mr. P. G. Bach, of Devonport, is on a visit to Te Puke, and is staying with Mr. • Basset, Oroufl Street. Mr. Bach was in' charge of the erection of the first machinery installed in the local dairy factory over 33 years ago. . Miss A. Foote and Miss B. Foote, of Takapuna, and Mr. D. Lisliman, of Auckland, are guests or Mrs. A. Fagan, Te Puke. Mr. A. S. ClifF, a former headmaster of the Te Puke district High School and now of Hamilton, accompanied by his wife and family, is spending several weeks at Mount Maunganui. Tauranga. Mies Ruth Galpin, a member of the staff of the Te Kuiti Hospital, is staying with her parents at Pongakawa, Te Puke. Mr. and Mrs. A. Montgomery have returned to Auckland after spending a holiday of several months in Te Puke with Mrs. A. Montgomery, sen. Mr. W. G. Leinmon, secretary of the Bay of Plenty Dairy Association Co., Ltd., lias left Te Puke for a week's holiday in Auckland.
