SCANDALISED WOMEN. AND A CARNEGIE STATUE. DUNFERMLINE, Scotland, Dcc. 20. Only when they saw a model of the ( proposed statue, with Carnegie depicted in the enveloping robes of a Doctor of ■ Literature, were the women of Dunfermline reassured.
