MR. SHIEL FOR SYDNEY., INTERVIEWED GOVERNMENT. After a visit to New Zealand to interview the Prime Minister, the Hon. M. J. Savage, regarding the proposed air passenger and mail service between Australia and New Zealand, Mr. B. T. Shiel, a director of Trans-Tasman Airways Development, Ltd., will return to Sydney by the Monterey this evening. The company, which has been largely influenced by* Lady Mary Kingsford Smith, proposes to run a bi-weekly service across the Tasman. Mr. Shiel said that the Prime Minister and all the members of Cabinet had been interviewed, and they had shown great interest. He was hopeful that it would come to fruition. I
