MODERN CARAVAN.
TOURING DE LUXE. An equipage which attracted a good deal of attention outside the. C.P.O. yesterday morning was a silver-grey tourin" ear with a body designed for caravaning. The lines of the vehicle were so proportioned that although it was as large as a fafr-sized room it appeared quite in proportion to the chassis of the car. What made Especially interesting to the feminine eye, however, was the windows, which were fairly large and set with leadliglit panes, inside which were curtains of heavy cream filet. It transpired that it has been designed by Auckland residents as a family touring car and the lucky owners explained that it is reallv a home on wheel 3. It has two 1 bunks and two extra passengers can sleep on the settee inside and on the driver's seat, which is unusually long and wide. Those who have experienced the difficulties of towing caravans on narrow roads with sharp bends would hail the present design with relief.
