NEW HUT.
SKI CLUB MEMBERS' EFFORT.
A new hut, fiOOOffc up the mountainside, is being built by members of the Ruapehu Ski Club at Tongariro National Park. Recently two parties made the ascent to prepare for work on the hut, and it is hoped that during the Christmas and New Year holidays, when considerable numbers of club members will be enjoying a mountain holiday, good progress will be made. Parties will be accommodated in the Whakapapa and Salt huts, and the usual arrangements have been made for transportation, accommodation, and food supplies on a cut-rate basis.
