MAN FOR OBSERVATION.
GRAVE CHARGE PREFERRED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. A man whose name was suppressed was charged to-day with attempting to murder his wife near Hastings on December 10. He was remanded till January 22. It was agreed by accused's counsel that in the meantime should enter a mental hospital for oWfcjgvation.
