Mrs. E. 0. Stocker, of Sydney, arrived hy the Monterey yesterday on a holiday visit to Auckland and is staying with her mother, Mrs. George Gribbin, of Stanley Bay.

Mrs. Falloon, of Hollywood. Los Angeles, will arrive in Auckland by the Mariposa next week. While in ' New Zealand she will be the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Polglase, Ivelburn, Wellington, and Mrs. Stanley, Oamaru.

Mrs. F. H. Taylor, who has been a part-time teacher in art at the Wairarapa High School for the past nine years, was farewelled by the principal and staff at a gathering at School House recently, prior to her departure for North Auckland.
