MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Dawn of Hope (Thames'). —The connection has been made between Nos. 1 and 2 winzes and stoping started on the reef, which is showing blotches of gold. The timber has now been completed on the specimen leader, which will enable the stope to be carried along to the jpunction with the Golden Age reef.
