MEMORY OF FALLEN.

■British Legion Review in the Albert Hall. DUKE AND DUCHESS ATTEND. British Official Wireless. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, November 12. The Duke and Duchess of York were present at a British Legion review in the Albert Hall, which 0000 ex-service-men attended. During the early part of the proceedings, which were broadcast to the Empire, the legion standards were played in by massed Guards bands. To the accompaniment of "Tipperary" and other old war-time tunes and choruses, in which the audience lustily joined, Chelsea pensioners and representatives of nurses, soldiers and sailors of overseas forces marched in. The second part of the programme was of a more solemn and religious character. "The Last Poet" was sounded, and Earl Jellicoe recited a verse of the poem "To the Fallen," and poppy petals to the number of 1,104,590 —the number of British dead in the war —fluttered down from the roof. The festival ended with the sounding of "Reveille."
