ROYALIST VOTE.
Greek Poll on Return of Exiled Monarch. AFFIRMATION LIKELY. (Received 12.30 p.m.) ATHENS, November 3. The first results of the plebiscite to decide the question of restoring the monarchy, the polling for which took place yesterday, are overwhelmingly in favour of restoration. The result will be known on November 0. New laws forbid criticism of the Royalist regime. The Press has "Deen censored, and the army and police organised to ensure a Koyalist majority. Victory for the monarchists is regarded as a foregone conclusion. Most of the Republican leaders have been arrested and banished. The majority of the Greek people are apathetic. The use of red and blue papers tends to destroy the secrecy of the ballot. As soon as the result is announced a special delegation will go to London to consult ex-King George, and to conduct him back to Greece if he consents to return.
