British Voting.
Municipal Elections—No Great Swing. (Received 5.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 1. The municipal elections in London took place to-day. The returns at midnight, when 101 results were to hand, showed- that the Conservatives had 50 gains and IS losses, the Liberals 10 gains and 12 losses, Labout 30 gains and 00 losses. Independents 20 gains and 20 losses. There has been no great swing in any municipality, most of the changes thus far affecting only one or two seats in various councils.
