OUR TOURING TENNIS GIRLS.
Misses Irine Poole. Thelina Poole, and Edna Rudkin. the Canterbury members of the New Zealand women's team, which left this week for a tour of Australia, were entertained by officials of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association at a tea party on Monday. The president (Mr. P. til. Harmani offered the best wishes of the association and of all tennis players in Can terbury to the guests, and expressed pleasure that three young players from the province had been selected. He considered that the experience they would gain on tour would be. of great benefit to their tennis.
