GUILT ADMITTED.
At the Supreme Court this afternoon, before Mr. Justice Callan, Eric Marshall Walden ■ pleaded guilty to indecent assault upon a male. Mr. K. Aekins, on behalf of accused, asked that the prisoner be remanded for sentence as Mr. A. H. Johnstone, K.C., .rould then appear and - plead on prisoner's behalf. The remand was granted.;
Sydney Sails, farmer, aged 22, was placed upon his trial before Mr. Justine Callan at the Supreme Court this morning. . Accused, who is charged with unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of 10 years, pleaded' not guilty. Mr. R. Meredith appears for the Crown and Mr. Holmden for the accused.
