| MARKETING CONTROL. AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND. SUCCESSFUL CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. C. P. Agar, deputy-chairman of the Dairy Board, Mr. J. Dinilop, a member, Mr. H. E. Davis, London manage.:-. | and Mr. T. C. Brash, secretary, returned by the Marama to-day after conferring with the Australian Dairy Board and Federal Ministers at Canberra regarding legulated marketing in Britain. Mr. Agar said the mission had been n.ore successful than expected and as a resuit he believed that New Zealand find I the Commonwealth would work in closer co-operation in the future. Arrangements had been reached on forwarding shipments Home and the question of marketing secondary butter would be taken up by the new Dairy Board which was being constituted in Australia on the lines of the newlyconstituted board in New Zealand. it had been arranged that annual confe"ences should be held between the boards and the Australian representatives would visit New Zealand next year. Commenting on the present price of butter at home Mr. Agar said the board hoped it would not go too high, as there would be a greater risk of it dropping further back later.
