YESTERDAY'S BUSINESS. SYDNEY, October 14. Business on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day v.-as fairly active and well distributed. Silver and lead issues were firm, while tin shares were medium. There was considerable business. This morning's sales included:—Commonwealth 4 per cent bonds: 1941, £102 15/; 1944, £104 5/; 1950, £103 15/; 1955, £105 10/.
