HILL CLIMB.
RACING DRIVERS. MURIWAI MEETING ARRANGED. Members of the New Zealand Motor Racing Drivers' Association will hold a hill-climb contest at Mount Roskill 011 the afternoon of November 2. Permission has been granted by the Mount Roskill Road Board for the association to use Qucenstown Road 011 that date. An open class championship for tlie Kidston Trophy, for members of the association only, will be the main event of the afternoon. The car putting up
the fastest time will be the winner. No practieo will be allowed. The event will be from a standing start. A further hill climb, open to all cars,' will be staged and new American cars are expected to put up good performances. Arrangements are being made for a race meeting to be held at Muriwai on November 23. Permission to hold the meeting has already been nskod by the association from the Muriwai Domain Board, and a reply is eagerly awaited. At least one crack racing driver from Australia is expected to bo a. starter, and it is possible that two or three more will conic over for the meeting.
