SEVERAL KILLED. Russians Fight Combined Forces. PENETRATION ALLEGED. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 1.30 p.m.) MOSCOW, October 13. Russian and Japanese troops met in a clash on the Manchurian border at Grodeko, near Khabarovsk. Several •were killed on either side. According to the Russian version, Japanese and Manchurians penetrated a kilometre into Soviet territory and fired at the frontier guards. The Soviet has instructed the Ambassador to Tokyo to protest against violation of its territory.
