AVERAGE RATE LOWER. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Octobcr 12. The total amount applied for this week in tenders for £45,000,000 worth of Treasury bills was £60,000,000. The average rate per cent for bills at three months was 12/1.82, against 12/8.05 a week ago. The maximum amount for issue ou October 18 will be £40,000,000.
