PINNED BY HORSE.

DEVONPORT GIRL INJURED. CONDITION STILL SERIOUS. When her horse reared and fell on t»p of her at Takapnna yesterday afternoon, Miss Marjorie Wright, aged 21, of 80, Vatixhall Road, Devonport, was seriously injured. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from concussion and injuries to the head. While riding along Kowliai Street. Takapuna, Miss Wright could not make her horse go past a- certain point. A young woman who was passing tried to lead the horse along, but it still refused to go ahead. Rearing suddenly, it fell backwards and pinned Miss Wright to the ground, and then began to trample on her. Medical attention was given by Dr. P. Andrew,' and Miss Wright was taken to hospital in a Devonport St. John ambulance. Her condition to-day is still serious.
