CAR STRUCK IN REAR.
driving lesson mishap. bookseller seriously injured. (By Telegraph.—-I'ress Association.) INVERCARGILL, Sunday. Suffering from serious head injuries received in a collision between two cars, Mr. James Alexander Lyon, a bookseller and stationer, of Invercargill, was admitted to the Southland Hospital yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Lyon, who was also in the car, was not seriously hurt. Their car was struck at the back by a car driven by Miss Doreen Mackay, who was receiving a driving lesson. Mr. and Mrs. J.ycr were in the back scat of their car and their sou was driving. He escaped injury. Miss Mackay was only slightly injured.
