SOCIAL AND DANCE.
MASTER BAKERS' ASSOCIATION. A welcome home social and dance was given to Mr. John Stormont, sen., 011 his return from California by the Auckland Mastfer Bakers' Association on Saturday. The function, which was well attended, was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk. This was the first of a series of social functions to be arranged by the Auckland Master Bakers' Association. Interspersed between the dances an excellent programme of vocal and elocutionary items was given by Mrs. Charles Stormont, Mrs. R. E. Matthews, Messrs. S. Stevenson, K. Smith, F. McKniglit. Madame Dunne was at the piano. The guests were received by Mrs. C. Cowan, who wore a black and silver tunic over black marocain. Among those present were: Mcsdames J. Stormont, sen., Hartmann, A. 15. Brownlie, Sinythe, E. L. Blampicd, 11. IT. Montgomery, R. Stormont, James Stormont, Wilson, Charles Stormont, Dunne, R. E. Matthews, J. Probert, J. McGregor, H. P. Burton, Misses A. Barton, Elmslie and C. Shaw.
