CAR FERRY DELAYED.
j The vehicular ferry steamer which was scheduled to leave the city for Devonport at 12,10 a.m. yesterday was delayed for nearly two hours owing to i trouble with the electrical gear which j operates the landing stage. The ferry was well filled with cars, whose owners i had 110 option but to wait until the cap- : tain got in touch with Harbour Board ! electricians, who remedied the fault. By the time the ferry was able to get clear there was another full complement < of cars waiting to be transported across the harbour.
