WAIKARE CHAMPIONSHIPS,
Matches in the senior championship ot the Waikare Golf Club resulted as follow*: L. Gordon beat H. B. Lloyd, C. A. Stevenson beat A. It. Cleary. Gordon and Stevenson will meet in the final for the senior title, and 11. Hall and W. Hewitt in the junior event. The annual foursomes match over IS holes between ladles' and men's teams will be played next week-end, players to arrantpartners. The draw will be made at tJj clubhouse at 1.30 o'clock.
CLEVEDON CLUB,
Following are the results of matches played by members of the Clev'edon Golf Club:—Woodlands Cup final: L. Jones beat G. Dow, 6 and 4. Championship semi-flnals: Currie beat Whytock, 2 and 1 ; Waters beat Knight, 3 and 2.
The following players will represent the club in a match to he played against he Mannkau Club at Mauukau 011 Saturday:—
Currie, Waters, Dow, Bryan, Wli.vtock, Kniglit, Henderson, .Tones, Colqulioun, Orum, Munro, Wells, Bannerman, Brown, Southerell.
SOUTH AUCKLAND LADIES
HAMILTON, Wednesday. The South Auckland champion of champions ladies' golf tournament which was played at St. Andrews, Te Rnpa, today. resulted in a win for Mrs. H. McDonald. of To Awamutu. whose score for Iho two roumls was 8.1, 89—174. Miss M. Wilkinson, of Hamilton, was runner-up with 87, 88—17.-., Players from Auckland and Whangarei were among the large number who entered for the medal rounds played in conjunction with the champion of champions tournament. in the senior division, Mrs. C. Bryant, Miss D. Duxfield and Mrs. N. Rawlings scored 77, but on a recount Mrs. Bryant was declared the winner.
