NATIONAL DRAMA LEAGUE.
AUCKLAND STUDENTS WIN. | (By Telegraph.—tress Association.) . HASTINGS, Thursday. The Auckland University College department of English team won the final of the National Drama league s festival in Hastings to-night with Sordid Story," by J. A. S. Coppard.The play was produced by Professor W. A. Sewell. The Timaru readers,were second with "Kirkconnel Lea," by Gordon Bottomly, and the D.mnevirke players were third with "Silver Bullet," by Helen de Zglinitzki. The judges were Miss Elizabeth Blake, of WellinguOU, Mr. Arnold Goodwin, of Auckland, i id Mr. Paul Latham, of Wanganui.
