RUGBY FOOTBALL.
TO-MORROW'S ATTRACTIONS. SENIOR COMPETITION. GRAMMAR TO MEET GRAFTON. The Auckland Rugby Union's senior competition will be continued to-morrow, when some thrilling exhibitions of the code should be provided. The main attraction of the day will be the meeting of Grafton, the competition leaders, and Grammar Old Boys at Eden Park. In recent matches Grafton have been at the peak of their form, and it would come as a surprise if their colours were lowered. The Old Boys' side, however, has been showing good form, and they are likely to keep the opposition busy from bell to bell, with the result open to the end. The curtain-raiser will be provided by Technical Old Boys and Otahuhu, and the score should not favour one side to any extent. The teams are equal in points in second place, and each will be battling hard to secure the lead. - The game at the Show Grounds will be between Marist and University. Both teams were defeated last week, but there is little betwen them 011 present form, and good football is expected. Ponsonby on its good form in its last few games should have little difficulty in defeating College Rifles in the game at Western Springs. Following are the teams: — MARIST. Senior Grade.—sl.
