HAIRDRESSERS' INTERESTS
A meeting of the Auckland District Retail Tobacconists and Hairdressers' Association was held last night. The president, Mr. C. E. Walker, presided over a large attendance. It was decided to support the proposed agreement between the Tobacco Manufacturers and Agents' Association and all retailers. The secretaryorganiser, Mr. R. M. Carter, gave an outlino of the growth of the association and expressed surprise at the increase in membership since the last general meeting. A minimum charge of 9d for children's haircutting in Auckland suburbs was decided upon.
