PASTURES IN WAIKATO.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent). 4 . HAMILTON, this day. Despite the warm rains of the past two days, which have freshened pastures, there is still a considerable feed shortage. The position is aggravated by the fact that this is the-most critical time of the lactation period and fields allocated for the provision of young •grass for cows just coming into profit have failed to prove of benefit'. To-day is fine and supunery in Hamilton and more warm rains are needed before pastures will be adequate for dairying purposes. j
