PROGRESS CLUB.
The Women's Progress Club of the Higher Thought Centre, met on Wednesday afternoon, presided over by Mrs. C'. Dickens. The epei'-ikor was Miss Montcrieffe, who gave a talk on "Life in China." The soloists were Mrs. Salisbury Sykes, Mrs. H. Armstrong Kevin, and Miss N. Farquhar, and violin solos were played by Mrs. Fisher. The accompanists were Mrs. Hewlett, Miss Lillian Braithwaite and Mrs. Morten. Mrs. D. Pierce was hostess at afternoon tea.
