The activities of, the Ellerslie Welfare League were reported upon to the Lllerslie Town 13o.iid on Tuesday. Lady visitors ha 1 attended 85 cases, and over £112 had been expended in providing relief and assistance. stated the report. The league" recorded it& regret at; the death of its president, the late Rev. S. Hill. Hie funds had been augmented during the year by grants totalling £153 from the Metropolitan Relief Committee. The balance now in band was £56. i
