WAIMAUKU INSTITUTE.
Mrs. L. Kerr-Taylor presided over the meeting of the Waimauku Women's Institute, when 50 members were present. The main feature of the afternoon was a demonstration by Mrs. 'A. Ferrall (Helensville) of soft toys. The prize for the best sponge cake was won by Mrs. C. Fletcher and the winner of the best vase of spring flowers was Mrs. H. S. Chandler., The old photograph competition was won by Mrs. G. Radford (Motutara).
