CENTRAL HOMING SOCIETY. The Central Homing Society commenced Its old bird season with a single bird race from Taumarunul. The birds were liberated by the statlonmaster in fine weather. Results:— Mr. F. Osbourne's Old Doc, 1149 yds .. 1 Mr. A. Brett's Lone Star, 1148 yds 2 Mr. F. Rowe's Aerial Boy, 1144 yds .... 3 Mr. J. Waddel's Granite Flight, 1138 yds 4 Mr. J. Swain's Wild Guy, 1137 yds .... 5 Mr. W. Donaldson's Sky Pilot, 1133 yds . 6 Also flew: Mr. W. Wadxlcl, K. Osbournc, J. Harley. Next week the club will continue Its programme with a race from To Kultl.
NORTHERN CLUB.
W. Sargent won the Northern Racing Pigeon Club's cup and shield in the Palmerston North yearling championship with his b c hen Happy Days. Results:— Mr. W. Sargent's Happy Days, 1159.5 yds 1 Mr. R.
