AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Cycle Club held their longest club race on Saturday, the distance being approximately 65 miles, extending from Panmure to Mercer and back. The -winner received a very fine cup, donated by Mr. F. Lowndes. Result: — R. Stewart (30.0), 3h 27m 51s ....... 1 N. Healey (30.0), 3h 29m 38s 2 11. Farrer (18.0), 31i 19m 23s 3 S. Kara (11.0), 3h 13m 52s 4 S. Hayes (2.30) recorded fastest time : In 3h 7m 4s. Ten started in the juniors* race of 6£ miles. The result was as follows:— R. Beeby (3.20), time 22.38 1 i VI. Cardwell (2.45) 2 I. Stuart (1.50) -.... 3 3. Coveney (2.20) 4 Fastest time: D. Banks (255), time 20.3. GLOUCESTER CLUB. Ideal weather conditions prevailed for he Gloucester Club's events on Satlrday. An 11-mile junior and a 28-mile enior event were held, and resulted as ollow: — Eleven-mile junior >— ack Wade (4.30), 39.36 1 'eddy Sheehan (5.0), 40.37 a . Mynott. (5.0), 40.37 1-5 3 3. Fastest time, S. Sargent, who lapped in 5.30, 15.47, 15.50, 15.52.
