WEATHER FORECAST.
FOB CITY AND PROVINCE.
The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Taurariga, Kawhia and Hamilton: —
Light to moderate east _ to northeast winds. The weather will be mainly fair and mild, but a few isolated showers on the east coast are likely. Seas will be smooth to moderate. An intense anti-cyclone has remained stationary over Xew Zealand. HAUBAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: Wind, east-north-east,- moderate; sea., moderate; weather, fine ■ with scattered cloud* and a few passing light showers; visibility good; barometer steady.
