HAURAKI PLAINS CLUBS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) • THAMES, this day.'The twelfth annual meeting of the Hauraki Plains Cricket Association was held at Ngatea, Mr. J. Donaghy presiding over a large attendance of delegates. Before commencing the business of the meeting the cbnirivan presented .a miniature cup to W. Dimmoek (Marnmarua). the outstanding bowler of last season s representative n-atches. The offer of a trophy by Mr. W. Katelifl'e was accepted. A tribute was paid to the secretary, Mr. P. Clark, who was re-elected for the sixth season, members expressing appreciation of his work. Officers were elected as follows:— Patron, Mr. J. Motion; president, Mr. *T.Donaghy; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Montgomery. .T. 11. Nicholson. F. E. Hammond, C. W. Parfitt. F. Hallett, A. P. Johnston. W. Constantine, W. Schultz, E. Levers, W. Burrows; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. P. Clark; auditor. Mr. F. L. Wailis; selection and advisory committee. the president and Messrs. J. H. Nicholson and C. Laurence. It was decided that one round of twoday inter-club matches be plaved, play to commence on October 12. The draw for the first round of matches to be played on the last-mentioned team's ground, resulted as follows:—Waitakarurn v. Kercipeehi, vKopuarahi v. Piniroa. Maramarua v. Ngatea, Kaihere v. Hopni. Arrangements for the junior competition were left in the hands of the secretary.
