Numerous Falls in Hurdles,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OTAKI, this day. Tlie spring meeting of the Otaki-Maori Racing Club is being held, to-day. The weather is perfect, and in consequence there is a. large attendance, while the course is in splendid order. Results: — KAPITI HACK HURDLES of fSO. One mile and a half. 3—RED SUN, 11.0 X 7-—HATTLK GROUND, 0.0 2 O—KAItANGAPAI, U.O 3 Also started: Gold Cure, 10.11: Arctic Star, 0.11: Royal Papa, Spender, Kia Tina, Nova Scotia, Air Force, 9.0. Head: two lengths. Royal Papa was the only other one to finish, the rest haying fallen. Time, 2.55 2-5. TUHI MAIDEN PI/ATE of £60. Special weights. Six furlongs. 6—THE IMAGE, 5.7 1 2—KNTHEOS, 5.7 2 I—GOING GAY, 8.7 i 3 Also started: Count Roussillion, Dacey, Middle, Merry Night, Conversion, Hunting Sc'onfe, Myriam, Surprise Item, 5.7. Length; three lengths. Time, 1.15. IRISH-BRED FILLY ARRIVES An Irish-bred yearling filly consigned to Mr. Storey, of Te Awamutu, arrived from London by the Remuera, this morning.
