THE GRAMMAR CLUB. Mr. L. I?. MaePonnld presided at the annual meeting of the Grammar Tennis Club. Tiie secretary reviewed tiie season's activities anil mentioned the co-operation and friendship which existed among members. The treasurer's statement revealed a good credit balance and the club captain reported on tiie results of the Grammar Tennis Club in the A.L.T.A. competitions. lie pointed out that the club had won the pennant in tiie IS grail' of the winter inter-club championships. An increased membership was forecast and the desire was expressed tliat more experienced lady plavers should join the club. The club will open ottieiall.v for the new season on Saturday, October 5. when tiie trophies won at the club competitions will be presented.
