MONDAY'S BOUT. WADE MEETS CESTOLDI. Fast and scientific wrestling should be seen at the Town Hall on Monday even : ing, when Glen Wade and Angelo Gestoldi will meet in a bout'arranged by the Auckland Wrestling Association. Wade has not been seen in Auckland for some time, and with added experience from his contests in the south his reappearance shou d be welcomed by those who have already seen him wrestle. CestolcH made an auspicious debut against McCready. The fact that he lost only one fall while conceding weight shows that he is no mean exponent of wrestling. Both men are virile and active in tlicir tactics, and tlie bout promises to produce wrestling of a high standard.
ANDRESEN BEATS LABRIOLA
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Friday. By two straight falls gained in the sixth and seventh rounds Ole Andresen (15.8) to-night defeated Leon. Labriola (16.0) in a wrestling bout characterised by strenuous wrestling. Labriola relied mainly upon his strength, but he was unable effectively to counter the remarkable holds that Andresen applied with his legs.
