TITIRANGI CLUB. MATCH WITH FRANKLIN". ARRANGEMENTS FOR WEEK-END. NORTH SHORE TITLES. LADIES' COMPETITIONS. In the North Shore Ladies' Golf Club's championships yesterday afternoon Miss M. Stevens, the title-holder, defeated Mrs. Pike in the senior final by 3 and 2. The junior event reached the final stages, and the deciding games are being played to-day. Ihe results were ns follow :— Senior Championship.—Second round : Miss M. Stevens beat Miss A. O'Neill, 5 and 4; Mrs. Pike beat Mrs. Atkinson. Final: Miss Stevens beat Mrs. Pike 3 and 2. Junior Championship.—Second round : Mrs. Weir beat Mrs. Badley, 5 and 4; Mrs. Ibbertson beat Miss M. Mason, <> and 4; Miss McFetridge beat Mrs. Hobbs, 2 up; Miss I. Wight beat Mrs. Walsh, 3 and 1. TITIRANGI LADIES' TOURNEY. A medal handicap competition was held by the Titirangi Ladles' Golf Club yesterday. The best scores returned were as follows:— Seniors.—Mrs. H. O. Wiles, 01—18—73; Mrs. R. CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. The Cambridge Ladies' Golf Club held a successful one-day tournament this week, when senior and junior competitions were held. In the morning a medal round over 18 holes was held, Mrs. H. Clayton winning the senior match with a net score of 73. Mrs. A. L. Allen wns the Junior winner, with a score of 70. In the afternoon bogey match Mrs. A. J. Law, 2 down, won the senior bogey. Mrs. Thomas, of Hamilton, won among the juniors, 1 up. Players competed from Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Morrinsville, Te Arolia and Cambridge. TE AWAMUTU TOURNEY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. Some good scores were recorded at the second annual tournament held on the Te Awamutu links yesterday. The following aro the results, with some of the best SC< Opeu amateur championship, 30 holes, won by G. Tallis (Tltirangi) 152. H V. Holmes also returned a card of 15.i, but Tallis had the best score in the afternoon round, and so won the chnmplonship, winning outright the Tul Cup. Other good scores wereM. Playing at the top of her form Miss Jean Horwell, the South Canterbury golf representative in the South Island team to play against the British team next week, defeated Mrs. W. A. Scott 7 up and 6, In the final of the Timaru Ladies' Golf Club championship. This gave Miss Horwell her fifth successive win in the event.
