Manoeka 11. beat Te Puke High School S, To Puke B 12. beat High School B 4 ; High School A 4, beat Te Puke B 3. Te Puke and Paengaroa met for the first time at Paengaroa, and after a fast evenly-contested game Te Puke won by points to 13.
