THE ANNUAL REPORT. The passing of legislation to enable a 40-year lease of the showgrounds to be made to the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association in remarked on in the eighty-second annual report of the association, to be presented at a special general meeting on Friday, September 27, by the president, Mr. S. Austin Carr. A tender has been let for the construction of a new winken ring ,which "will ample facilities for enormous crowd* of people. This ring when completed will make one of the finest show rinjrs, sports, cricket and football grounds in the Dominion." A loss oil the annual show i<3 attributed to very unfavourable weather. There wae a loafer the year ot £83 10/11.
