NO AGREEMENT.
BOILERMAKERS' DISPUTE. Ko agreement lias been reached in the dispute between the Auckland Boilermakers' Union :ind the Auckland Ironworkers' Association, which has been considered by the Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. I'. Hally. The employers' offer regarding wages and rates of overtime has been turned down by the union and the position now is that the commission within 30 days of the opening of the hearing of the- dispute, which was August 14, will notify the clerk of awards that no agreement has been arrived at. Unless the parties within the succeeding 30 days come to some agreement the award expires.
