COOK ISLAND FRUIT. TOMATOES AND ORANGES. GREEN, PEAS ARRIVE. There was a fair demand at to-day's sales for apples, pears and hothouse tomatoes, but Island tomatoes were cheaper than last week as the steamer Sheaf Holme, which is due from Los Angeles to-night, is bringing a shipment of fruit, including tomatoes and oranges, which she loaded at the Cook Islands en route. The market is glutted with lemons, but there is a fair demand for orange*., while grapefruit are in slightly better demand than they were last week.
