AUCKLAND MEETING. NIMBUS COMPLETES DOUBLE. OUR- McKINNET ALSO WINS TWO. The combined meetings of the Auckland Trotting Club were, brought to a conclusion at Alexandra Park on Saturday in fine weather. The track was fast, and there was a good attendance. The t\»r> principal events, the Fergnsson and Papatoetoe Handicaps, were both won by the favourite, Xhnbns, while Our McKinney also annexed a double. The totnlisator handled £19,023, compared with £13,557 the previous Saturday, an increase of £546(5. Favourites Race Well. The three best supported horsee filled the places in the September Handicap, although not in the order backed. King's Play and General S:irsfield skipped a little at the start and Kenworthy led out from Bismuth, Our McKinney and Bonny Azure, while Kewpie'e Crest broke up early. Along the back Kenworthy led Bismuth, Our McKinney, Bonny Azure, Replica and King's Play, and at the stand with a round to.go the order was Kenworthy, Bismuth, Bonny Azure, Our McKinney, King's Play, Replica, Ironside and Kewpie's Crest. There was practically no alteration along the back, but Kenworthy then began to tiro and Bismuth led into the straight from Bonny Azure, Our McKinney, Kenworthy and King's Play. Under a hard drive Bonny Azure ■ hobbled slightly in the straight and Our McKinney headed her to go on and win by three-quarters of a length from King's Play with Bonny Azure only half a head away. Bismuth wae fourth followed by Replica, Ironside, General Sarsfield and Kewpie's Crest. Audo Patch Again. Several of the horses put in breaks in the Innovation Trot, which was won by Auto Patch, who was successful the previous week. Native Princess broke up at the, start and before two furlongs had been covered Worthy Nor brok;; badly and dropped back last. At the stands the second time. Elissa was three lengths out in front of Nelson's Glory, with Young Rodney five lengths l>ajpk and followed by Audo Patch, Native Princess and Worthy Nor. Across th« top Elissa broke and interfered with Nelson's Glory and Young Rodney, sending both to a break. Audo P.-.tch then led into the- straight from Yc :ng Rodney, who was still breaking, with Captain Bolt and Worthy Nor some distance away. Audo Patch went on to win nicely by a length and a half from Young Rodney, with Worthy Nor two lengths and a half away. Then followed Captain Bolt and Elissa. A Double Winner. Nimbus, winner of the Fergueson Handicap earlier in the afternoon, also took the Papatoetoo Handicap, in which he was made favourite, and scored after a good tussle with Wee Machine. When the field had gone a furlong and a half Kewpie's Guy broke and interfered with Smooger. Wee Machine went to the trout and wae soon three lengths out from Nimbus, with Smooger, Lady Coronado, Kewpie's Triumph and Mountain Dell following. That was the order with a round gone. Along the back the last time Wee Machine was a couple of lengths in front of Nimbus with Smooger and Kewpie's Triumph next and Lady Coronado and Mountain Dell a long way back. Nimbus lined up with Wee Machine half way down the straight and drew out to win by half a length. Smooger was only a head away third, followed by Kewpie's Triumph, with the others a long way back.

Another Double Winner. The meeting was brought to a conclusion with the Henderson Handicap, the favourite division comprising Nelson Luvan, Lucky Love and Our MeKinney. At the start Anthony's Gift broke up and lost a lot of ground, and Nelson Luvan led out from Tryment, Lucky Love, Grey Mist, Our McKinney and Peter Junior. Lucky Love was attending Nelson Luvan as they raced past the stand, this pair being closely followed by Tryment, Our McKinney and Grey Mist together, Peter Junior and Rockella. There, was no change along the back, and crossing the top the order was Nelson Luvan and Tryment together, Lucky Love and Our McKinney together, Peter Junior and Grey Mist, the others being we'll back. Nelson Luvan was the first to straighten up from Tryment and Our McKinney, the last-named finishing on solidly to win by half a length from Tryment, who beat Peter Junior by a neck. Nelson Luvan was three-quarters of a length away fourth, followed by Lucky Love, Grey Mist and Whakahihi. Later results: —• SEPTEMBER HANDICAP of £110. One mile and a half.
