CYCLIST KILLED.
PEDESTRIAN BADLY HURT. LOWER HUTT COLLISION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. A motor cyclist, John Walker, of Lower Hutt, was killed and a pedestrian, Frederick Fabling, also of Lower Hutt, was severely injured as the result of an accident at Lower Hutt at 3.4;j p.m. on Saturday. The motor cyclist, who was 30 years of a-*e, and married, was riding north and collided with Mr. Fabling, who was crossing the road near Trinity Avenue Mr Walker was thrown heavily and received head injuries from which he died almost immediately. Mr. Fabling, who is 4S years old, and single, received a compound fracture of a leg, a fractured right forearm, and severe shock.
