INCREASED COLLECTIONS. OVER 14 PER CENT IN SEVEN MONTHS, j The- amount of sales tax collected in July was £189,057, a decrease of £0914 as compared with the figure for the preceding month, but an inereaee of 12.5 per cent over the total in July, 1934. Sales tax collections during the expired seven months of the current calendar year have totalled £1,320,578, an increase of 14.2 per cent over the total for the corresponding period of last year.
