INVERCARGILL FIGURES.

INVERCARGILL, Monday.
The building boom in Invercargill, far from showing signs of waning, is rising. The returns for August disclose that the total value for which permits were issued was £17,277, compared with £10,368 in August last year, and £12,732 in July last. For eight months of this year the value of permits is about £116,854, com--pared with £51,675 for the corresponding 2>eriod in 1934, an increase of nearly 130 per cent.
