NORTH FOR "THE 12TH."
UNUSUALLY HEAVY TRAFFIC. (British Oflicial Wireless.) (Received 9.30 a.m.) RUGBY, August 11. A feature this year of the usual heavy passenger trafiic to Scotland for "the 12th"—the opening of the grouse season—is the increase in the numbers travelling by night. One train leaving London will run in six parts and carry 400 passengers in the first-class and 700 in the third-class sleeping berths. Another train will leave in three parts to accommodate the extra traffic. Large numbers of travellers are taking their motor cars with them in vans coupled to the coaches.
