CAR CAPSIZES.
OTAGO CONSTABLE INJURED ACCIDENT NEAR. PAERATA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, this day. About 9.30 on Saturday night a light car that was travelling from Auckland to Pukekohe, and which was driven by Constable vV. Wilson, of Auckland, failed to negotiate a bend in the road near Paerata and capsized into a ditch. Constable Wilson escaped injury, but Mrs. Wilson sustained cuts to the legs and face, while another passenger, Constable Tulloch, who was on leave from Dunedin, was badly cut on the forehead and sustained concussion. Mrs. Wilson and Constable Tulloch received medical attention from Drs. A. T. Begg and J. W. Lumsden, of Pukekohe, while Constable Tulloch received further attention at a private hospital at Pukekohe. All members of the party returned to Auckland yesterday. The car waa extensively damaged.
