OTAHUHU CATHOLIC WOMEN.
A card party in aid of the Otahuhu Catholic Women's League was held at the residence of Mrs. A. Hayden, Moa Street, Otahuhu, on Tuesday afternoon. Bridge and 500 were played, the prizes being won by Mrs. E. E. Elliot (bridge), Mrs. S. Josephs (500), and Mies Brosnan (hidden number).
Those present included: Mesdames J. Cahill, E. E. Elliot, J. J. Graham, F. Ellery, W. Absolum, F. Holloway, J. Ball, J. O'Toole, H. M. Ryan, J. Peterson, Harris, A. McCowatt, Walker, Maher, Constance, F. T. White, J. Loder, Searby, E. McAnulty, C. E. Turner, A. J. Hayden, C. Kelly, Goodwin, King Gibson and Misses Stansfield and Brosnan.
