The Chief Postmaster, Auckland has received advice that the mails which left Wellington on July 9 by R.M.S. Maunganui, via San Francisco, arrived at London on August 5. "Knitting Wool Bargain Week" at Ashleys A.B.C. Stores, Newton. Special prices all wools.— (Ad.) Knocked down by a motor car in Lower Albert Street about 6.30 last evening, Mr. Alfred Grieve Moffat, aged 37, married, of Te Puke, suffered concussion and was taken by St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is not regarded as serious. Knitting wools at reduced prices during "Wool Week" at Ashleys A.B.C. Stores, Newton.—(Ad.)
